I forget just how FUN fall weekends are. Especially now with my mini me able to interact and ride things! There’s countless pumpkin patches, corn mazes, festivals, and so much more in the south. And now that we FINALLY got some chilly weather, we got to have a fun-filled, sweater-wearing weekend!
We had our niece’s birthday party on Friday at the in-door trampoline place that Harlie LOVES, and then Saturday we randomly decided to stop by a local tractor pull and embrace our redneck-ness 🤷🏻♀️ lol. Harlie actually enjoyed it, but we didn’t stay long because the wind was crazy! Sunday, Justin and my dad went fishing early morning and then we took Harlie to eat and to the Gold Rush Days festival. I have to admit, we didn’t have too much fun there because Harlie was in a mood and was constantly getting in trouble. This has been going on for about two weeks now, but this past weekend – Sunday the most – she has had a major attitude and this mama is running on empty with energy and emotions to deal with it. 😩 #sendhelp
On a better note, I have 7 ways I style my blanket scarves and I’m going to share them with you today!
THE CLASSIC BANDANNA
Make the scarf into a triangle, and then loop it around the back of your neck, leaving the ends in the front.
THE LAZY GIRL
Throw it over your shoulders, and go!
THE TUCKED BANDANNA
Just like the Bandanna style, but then I tuck the ends inside the loop for a more infinite look.
This look can be done by making a knot in the “Lazy Girl” style, with either one knot or two!
THE INFINITE LOOP
This is a new one for me, but I love it! Simply make a knot about 5-8″ at the ends, and then loop it around your neck twice. Then you have the option to show the ends or not. I did mine off to the side here.
THE PULL THROUGH
Hold both ends together, as well as the looped side together. Then pull the ends through the looped (u-shaped) side, and then you can make it sit against your neck for warmth or lower like I have here.
THE BELTED VEST
Spice up the “Lazy Girl” with your favorite belt for a more put together look!
There are countless more ways to wear scarves, but these are my typical go-to looks that I do during the cooler months. I’m thinking about doing a video on these and a few more, what do y’all think? That way if you can’t figure out how to do these by looking at the pictures, it will be more detailed so you too can wear more than 1 or 2 ways.
Be on the look out for a GIVEAWAY tomorrow night, and a blog post later this week on all things – Retinol!
