JUMPSUIT: Forever21 // BOMBER JACKET: old, similar, similar // BOOTS: 6pm // HANDBAG: Chloe, dupe // CHOKER NECKLACE: DressUp
I told y’all I was trying new things this year and not pushing the typical “blogger outfits”! I ordered this jumpsuit thinking I’ll just try it on, but it will go right in the return bag. I completely surprised myself when I tried it on and 1. couldn’t believe how comfortable it is, 2. How much I liked it! And a bonus? Justin gave me the π₯ emoji lol.
Now I know this isn’t a typical errand running outfit or pick your kids up from daycare look. However, the point of this isn’t to say “Hey! Buy this leopard jumpsuit, you need it!” It’s more-so to show that it’s 100% okay to step out of your comfort zone this year. Things you may not think will work, or look good, or in your budget may be just so. I wasn’t sure which route I wanted to take when I got this piece in as for styling it. I didn’t have much in mind when ordering it because like I said, I wasn’t planning on it working out. So I grabbed some older pieces to pair it with and literally worked on the first try. You can’t go wrong with throwing a black bomber/moto jacket over an outfit. Ever. I honestly can’t even remember where this jacket came from, but I linked a similar one above in the description. I also have an entire blog post on bomber jackets if you’re interested – here. I also wanted to add a pop of color so I went with my red Chloe bag with the gold chain to match the color scheme of the jumpsuit. You can always keep it a little more monotone and go with a black or brown bag.
So on over to the New Year, let’s switch up the topic for a minute. Did you make a resolution for yourself? Are you still thinking about it? I honestly kind of made some ideas for myself but haven’t got it in writing yet. My goal(s) last year was to have a healthy delivery and baby {β } and then to get my body back into shape. Although everyone is their own worst critic, I’m pretty pleased with the hard work I’ve put in to boot camp and getting into shape. For anyone interested in my process or types of workouts I do you can search “Fitness” on the sidebar of my blog to see all my workout posts including the one I wrote about Post-Baby, those first 6 weeks. If you have any specific topics, areas of concern you’d like me to write about or share more details of my journey leave me a comment or DM me on Instagram.
You can shop this outfit as well as some other jumpsuit options below in the gallery! Thanks for reading and I hope you get the courage to step out of your comfort zone in all areas of your life this year.
