I may or may not have shopped in the kid’s section for this #ootd… oops.

Forever I hated being petite and short. As I’ve gotten older I’ve found random, sometimes quirky, perks of being short. One of them being you can fit in a lot of kid’s clothing in sizes Large and XLarge! I’ve scored some Nike workout pants for half price of adults, cute shoes that were displayed in the children’s section, but found out you just add 2 numbers to the kid’s size to get your adult size! I’m 5’2 and try to wear heels or shoes with a wedge in them as much as possible so I don’t look so short beside my 6′ husband. I’m hoping Harlie will meet us somewhere in the middle when she grows up lol.
So on the subject of fitting in “kid’s stuff”, Harlie and I were at Target the other day and I was walking past the girl’s section (not baby girl’s) and this purple leopard bomber totally caught my eye. I grabbed a Large, threw it on over my clothes and it fit! *Throws it in the cart* I continued on to my original destination in the store before I spent any more unnecessary money like I always do when going to Target. You know, I’m one of those “You go into Target for one or two things, and come out with 12 items that half the time DON’T even include what you originally went there for.” Oh well. Can you blame me for getting this super cute jacket for only $27.99??
Bomber, or “Moto”, jackets have been a hot fashion item to have in your closet each fall and winter season for years now. They range from $25.00-thousands if you go for a designer piece. I have about 6 in various colors, but this was my first unique one. It won’t go with near as many outfits as my black or cream colored ones will, but for the price I had to. I’ve gotten Harlie a metallic pink one and a black one so far. THIS rose gold one is adorbale and less than $25!
If you aren’t petite like me and can’t fit into this jacket I’m wearing, then browse the gallery below of some bombers I found for women (also plus size) and children, if you’d like to try and match your little girl!
Hope you have a blessed day! As always, thanks for reading! 🙂
