Going into the last few months of the year, most people travel at some point. Whether it be for work, vacations, or family visits for the holidays, I’ve got some travel necessities you should be packing along.

Each fall since I can remember we go up to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge, TN for 2-3 nights. I adore how to decorate the entire city, making it feel like a home away from home. Christmas season is nice there, too although fall is my favorite. Even if it rained the entire time you’re there, there’s still plenty to do. We usually go to Dollywood Theme Park and eat all the homemade treats and wonder if we should jump on the next roller coaster or pass until that last food stop settles lol! Anyway, I know a lot of people travel during these last months of the year for the holidays as well as for fun. I’m dying to go out to Colorado or Montana, we’ll see if this winter is the one or not!
This post is about what essentials I pack for trips, especially cold(er) ones. I’m still learning as we go as far as traveling with Harlie. My mindset currently is – over pack, you just never know.
I’ve been looking for a new cosmetic bag/case for a while now since I’ve been throwing my makeup, skincare, and hair products in ziplock bags and misc pouches. I found this leopard one from Ulta and love that it is sturdy, holds it shape, and zips. When we go somewhere I’ll convert my Louis Vuitton Neverfull from my daily diaper bag to a “hold everything for me and Harlie” bag. So of course for yourself and baby, you wanna pack layers because YOU NEVER KNOW what the weather may decide to do. Nordstrom & ASOS has some super cute sweaters this year, and I’m loving the boots/booties at ShopBop.
Below in the carousel is some items I make sure to always pack with me including makeup/hair staples, as well as misc items. The top one is other cosmetic case options.
