I’ve got some favorites rounded up for the month of September!

Does anyone else feel like this year has been about 2 months long? I mean HOW are we already in October??? Everyone always tells you once you start having children, the years just fly by, but you can’t really understand it until you’re living it. I’ll be writing Harlie’s 9 month update at the end of this month and honestly, don’t even want to think about it.
So September (well, Labor Day) marks the official “end” of summer each year, but Georgia usually likes to drag it out until at least the middle of the month, if not the end. Everyone up north has already got to get their boots and scarves out, while I’m still in shorts and a tank in 86 degree weather (insert rolling eye emoji). Anywho, I’ve listed out some favorites from the past month.
1. Favorite Etsy Purchase: I live off of Amazon & Etsy! During the last couple months of my wedding planning, I had packages coming in from Etsy on the weekly. They have the best custom made gifts and unique items. I purchased THIS book for a friend’s baby because I actually bought Harlie one after she was born to start filling out and it is the cutest!
2. Favorite Makeup Purchase: I’m sure some of you know how much I LOVE Farsali products. I’ve been using their Rose Gold Elixir under my makeup as well as my nighttime moisturizer for years. I have dry to normal skin and this oil makes my skin glow under my makeup. So I decided to give their newest item a try- Unicorn Essence Oil. Decision? A Must! I just got this a week-ish ago, so I know I have way more usage under my belt with the Rose Gold, but I still love the new one, too! I’ll show you guys what it looks like on Insta-story later today or tomorrow.
3. Favorite To-Do List Item Crossed Off: I would have to say putting up my fall decor! Anyone whose ever been to my home during the fall or Christmas months knows how much I love to decorate! Last year I was just getting into the “energizer bunny” phase of my second trimester and got a little ahead of myself by putting the fall decor up mid-September and it ended up staying in the 90s until October. It felt silly walking in to a super fall-ish house sweating from simply getting out of your car and walking inside. This year I made myself wait until we had steady 70-76 degree temps before getting it out. I had a little helper this year which made it so much more (difficult but) fun. She had to make sure to put her hands on each thing before letting me put it in it’s spot. I love shopping for my fall decor at Target, At Home, Kirkland’s, and Hobby Lobby.
4. Favorite New “Thing?”: Not sure how to word that, but this past month was my first “event/festival”! We did a few to kick off my new clothing boutique and Justin and I really enjoyed them. Each one has a different feel and crowd that it brings, but that’s what makes it not get boring. We’ve got a couple planned through the rest of the year, and hope those will do well, too. If you’re local and want to know which ones we will be at so you can come shop in person, just comment below and I’ll be glad to let you know. I really want some of THESE black clothing racks for showcasing items.
