Of course as a fashion lover, I have attending a fashion show as an item on my bucket list. Until then though, I’ll have to read what the upcoming trends are verses getting to see them in person.
SHOP THE LOOK
This fall/winter has got some funky as well as tried and true trends. Up until about 5ish years ago, once a trend was fading out, you wouldn’t dare try that outfit/item/color pattern again the following year. Now, I feel like even though there are trends that are hot and in the “now”, people can still rock them the next year’s season and be okay. I remember being in middle school and the shoe trend then was Birkenstock’s. If you didn’t have a pair, you might as well stay home! But once that trend faded out, you wouldn’t dare be seen with them on for fear of being made fun of. Now look.. they are back in stores 15 years later!
#ONE: Statement Prints & Heels
I have to admit that looking through this trend in pictures from various Fashion Weeks that a bunch of these shoes I would never wear. However, I am all for standing out and finding something unique to wear so I’m linking some unique, but practical shoes. They will also be in the visual slide at the bottom to click for purchase.
– Leopard Heels
– Rose Gold Sandal
– Funky Print Louboutins
#TWO: Slouchy Boots
I LOVE these. I actually already own a couple pairs of this type of boot. I feel like this look goes with a more causal outfit verses a sleek boot. Almost all of the designers had their models in these at some point in their shows.
– Oasis (under $100!)
– Wide Calf Riding Boot (Under $65)
The color red was across the board at Fashion Week. From dresses, to accessories, and of course in shoes. Rocking a bold red boot is definitely not for everyone, but a nice red heel could be worn by anyone! I love this pair.
– Simple Red Heels
– Slouchy Knee-Highs
#FOUR: Combat Boots
Personally I haven’t been able to really find a pair of these that I love enough to buy and wear. I’ll still be searching especially now they are at the top of the trend list. Let me know if you have some that you love! Here are a couple options for this category:
– Faux Fur & Leather Lace Up
I.LOVE.BOOTIES. Can I repeat? If you’ve seen my InstaStories lately you probably saw where I know have three (yes, 3) pair of the Kristin Cavallari booties. My favorite thing about booties is they can be worn year round! Here are a few on my wish list:
– Kristin Cavallari
– Rose Gold Open Toe
– Cut Out Peep Toe
Do you already have some of these shoe trends? Any of these you’ll be steering clear of?
